Michael Nelson – Owner Member/President

• Certified Teacher with 14 years of Classroom Experience and 12 years of Admin Experience

Mike was the General Manager of Native Innovation and Unity Technology.  His primary responsibility with all companies has been Sales Engineering and the management of Personnel and resources.  He is a level 3 engineer in Cisco and Microsoft and a network architect able to design complex systems that meet the needs of any enterprise, business, or government network.  He has a proven track record of 17 years reliable experience in the public and private sectors. He has experience designing and implementing HyperV and Vmware utilizing ISCSI targets.  He has implemented Security Video systems utilizing Salient Openview Software and Access Cameras.  He has implemented concrete backup strategies utilizing Symantec Backup Exec, Windows Server Backup, Intronis Cloud Solutions, and Microsoft DPM.  He as installed and implemented Ruckus and Tropos Wireless Systems and maintained Alcatel VOIP systems. He has installed and implemented Microsoft Exchange 2016, Barracuda WebFilters and Routers, Cisco network equipment, and Microsoft Active Directory environments.

Juan Diego – Owner Member/Solutions Engineer

• Backup and Storage Solutions expert.  15 years of experience
• Microsoft Engineer.

Juan was the former Server Engineer for Coconino Community College. He served as their backup and server engineer creating reliable backup solutions featuring Backup Exec.  He is also a server engineer maintaining Microsoft networks including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.  He has maintained Ruckus equipment, Dell routers switches and servers, and HP workstations, servers, switches, and Access points.

Jim Grantham – Owner Member/Solutions Engineer

• Workstation and Server Engineer.

Jim has worked with IT in the public and private sector for 12 years. He has extensive experience support Microsoft Networks, Extreme routing and switching, and has consistently provided maintenance and support to all of Canyon Horizon Customers.
